Title: Mistborn Box Set
Post by: cathar on October 20, 2009, 05:31:44 PM
Does anyone know what the box itself will look like? DO the books have different covers from the single paperback books?

The books themselves are the same as the normal paperback books. The box looks like a normal cheap box set box with art from the 3 covers on its 3 sides.

Funny, I was just wondering about a Mistborn Box Set last night. Glad to see one is coming out!

It has had an ISBN for months now. Come on, I can't be the only person who checks for new ISBNs related to authors I like, can I? Somebody? Please speak up.

I hadn't thought of doing that.  You won't be the only one for long!

Wow, my post was a bit insulting. I was trying to comment on my lack of a life, not say that this thread was dumb or anything. Sorry about that, friends.

I got that it was a joke, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It wasn't insulting. Your meaning was pretty clear. :)

Ah, good. I thought it might be slightly too opaque. Shall I apologize about the needless apology?

Sorry. :P

Does Brandon get a different percentage for the boxed set compared to the paperbacks individually?

He probably gets less for the box set though the percentage may be similar. But I don't know the details.

Yeah, I'm definately getting a box set. My husband destroys books when he reads them so now I need my own copies that will last. The pages are litterally falling out of Elantris and I just bought it less than 6 months ago! tsk tsk
