It was kind of an important fact, I mean, they can't just drop that fact because it would destroy the motive.  The motive was directly linked to the Morman religion and therefore is such an extremely important fact that it not only can't be left out, but shouldn't be let out.

Heh.  I think the fact that he was planning to assassinate the leaders of the Church was enough to indicate that point....

lol.  I read this somewhere a week or so back.  Gave me a big chuckle.  I love how these crazies think that they can take over the Church by killing off all of its leaders.  A military coup is SURE to make the faithful believe in you.
