I totally agree with this review. I was *very* disappointed with this movie and its "plot". It was extremely lacking. :(
-
Hmmm, how odd. I went and saw this in the theaters with my friends children, and found it very entertaining and thrilling. For a childrens movie.
-
This review essentially said "I was not in the target audience for this movie, nor did I pay attention while I was watching it."
It may well be as bad as you say, I just don't really trust a review that gets this ranty.
-
See, that's why I commented before reading the review. I generally don't trust reviews (and hence why I don't really write them). They are, indeed, the opinions of the person who has seen that movie/read the book/ played the game, and as much as they may try to be fair or balanced, there's always a skewering of opinion in there. No doubt.

It's kind of nice to have a good old one-star ranty review again, though. It reminds me of the old Panic Room days.
-
What are you going on about? You must explain yourself.
-
I have to agree with Mustard.
-
it wasn't a HORRID movie... but it was not memorable either. It was a cute thing to watch given the right mood and audience, but in the wrong circumstances I can see how it would be blah.
-
I, personally, thought Lord of the Rings was horrible as well, and for the same reasons. What a coincidence.
I saw it while I was having dental surgery done, and, of course, I hate fantasy stories in general. But I'm sure that the film was actually bad, and my perception wasn't skewed in any way by any of the aforementioned.
