Why Neo sucked in the Matrix reloaded
« on: October 21, 2003, 08:36:08 PM »
You know when you see a cool film or whatever, and try to simulate it in RPG's? You take all the things they did, and put "1 per day/level" after it and so on. And then it feels really, well, stale.

Thats what happened. In the Matrix, Neo did that funky stuff at the end, stop bullets, nail agents, fly and so on. Then the Architect made him a D20 class and assigned him stats and "1 per day/level" stuff. And then he goes stale.

Dude should have used Mage's spheres as an inspiration i tell you.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying.  At the end of Reloaded, Neo did new impossible things he had never done before.  And in Revisited, Neo proved he could take down the Architect no prob but didn't because of  the "P" word.
