A scientist was messing around with magnetic fields with this work mill when the maelstrom hit, and so it just disappeared.  He came from the same college we are planning to fly to, to find out what's going on.  The barkeeper said the scientist left a bunch of stuff in his room, so we are going through it to see if we can find out anything about what's going on.

I didn't mind that at all. What they need to do is tie the duality aspect into gameplay, and stop trying to make a combat game out of a system designed for vampire, a game where you chat with other vampires.
