Dear SE,

I am distraught about the amount stupid advice you have to dispense.

But irregardless, I have been wondering about an important matter of etiquette. Recently, I have entered into a heated debate with my fellow church members about the social graces of a blood-sacrifice.

With all the threat of HIV and other diseases, I have been proposing a change in etiquette. First, I think the sacrificial offering should be tested and the results of the test should be printed on the invitations. And using blood to write the invitations is simply uncouth nowadays. Red Ink should suffice, right?

And would it be uncivilized for the High-Priest or Priestess to wear some sterilized rubber gloves and maybe some protective eyewear? I think this is just basic courtesy.

My fellow devotees seem to disagree with me. It might be why I've been chosen to be offered at our next ritual.

If you could please give us some clear policies to resolve this, that would be appreciated.
