I also own the game and I absolutely love the setting.

I have nothing but hate for the system though.  I like a little more 'game' in my roleplaying game.  Octane's system could be compared to sitting around a campfire telling a collaborative story but instead of just passing the torch around the circle you randomly determine who gets it next.

The book is a mine for ideas, but a terrible game.  I feel this way about the vast majority of indie/Forge games along with any game that touts *pukes* GNS theory.

Gamer Narrative Simulationist theory? That one makes sense from what I've heard of it. And the campfire thing was done well in Baron Munchhausen, which is a great drinking game.

This review is mildly incomprehensible. Can we have some more paragraph breaks and slightly longer sentences? :/
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Great holy hannah, this is what I get for telling SE I'll edit the articles after they're posted. I can barely read this.

why, its written in english?

I disagree about it being a terrible game though, just very atypical. Its very much a social game, where you don't have a lot of rules or a lot to care about. It screams beer and pretzels.
Its an automated robot. Based on Science!

Rules get in the way. The less rules the better, to the point where the few rules give you good ideas.

This game seems really cool.

I'm a rules-lite fan to the point where the rules are so light that they really cease to be a game.

I'd use Savage Worlds to run and Octane game any day though.
