My thoughts on the changes:

Forceblast - minor change to a wimpy power
HSS - nerf it!  nerf it!   yeah!
PW - that one's confusing to me.  Could you use it before if an emeny wasn't in range?
Support - yes!  BIG YES!
Shapechage - now not the weakest power in the game.  Is it exactly like Super Senses then?

** Kije tapes a note reading "I hate the computer" to e's back and runs out of sight before he can notice.

** Kije, not recognizing words such as "commie," mutant," and "traitor," subjects everyone who has posted such heresies to the flamethrower, as a) such words apparently exist outside the utopia that is the computer and must therefore be ridden with non-computerness, and b) anyone who uses these words knowingly must therefore comprehend their meaning, thus c) betraying the corruption that has polluted their souls.  Hence d), the flame of the computer's wrath.

Along with shape change, I'd like to see super strength changed so that it's not so dependent on objects.

You should know, Fell.  There's got to be quite a bit of that where you work.

So when they beef something up like this, do they just errata up the point cost of all the previous figs with that power?  Or are they just suddenly much better?  Or are they all now retired?

E - at worst you should just ignore the guy/gal/whoever.  At best, you might attempt to educate the person.  They obviously have some misconceptions.  That's just my opinion.

While I haven't had extensive experience rollplaying, I agree very much with the article, 42!  I'm currently playing a fighter, which if I just played for the game aspects I imagine would be extremely boring.  But I've given him an extensive set of goals that make it really fun.  We're even playing a series of  encounter-heavy modules, and I still find that I'm having fun, all because of the background and goals I decided to give the character.

So I've started seeing ads for this movie, which looks like Aeon Flux Redux but with Milla Jovovich.  While I will admit that Milla looks 1000x better than Charlize Theron in a tight leather death-dealing suit, is the film going to be that much better?  Anyone heard anything?

Sorry, I wasn't in on the whole other discussion.  The explanation of the six being a special case makes sense, although it's not intuitive.

Please forgive me if I'm bringing up an undesirable subject, but how does 3 out of 4 stars (75%) translate to 3.5 out of 6 clocks (not even 60%)?  It could at least be 4 (67%) or even more appropraitely 4.5 (75%).  Not to be too picky or anything.  It just seemed incongruous.
