Yeah FACPL Freinds of the Arlington County Public Library every quarter they have a sale of books Video Tapes, DVDs and materials that have been donated or bequeathed to the Library. Prices are insanely cheap and you can always find a good book or 30.
Think of it as a Barnes and Noble or a Borders that has to sell all of its product in 3 days.
My wife and her parents had been shopping for about an hour when I showed up (and I had only 1/2 hour to look around) so I headed to my favorite sections (History, Sci-fi, Mythology) While looking for the Sci-fi Section I noticed a new section marked in 3 foot high letters. Comic books.
Yeehaa!! Comic books!!
A furtive search unveiled another gem.
Issues 1-33 of the Further adventures of Indiana Jones for less than the 1984 cover price.
For those of you who dont know the cover price of these comics is 60-65 cents and I got em for 50 cents.
Yay me.

My library does that, but the basement smells like burnt uranium waste and most the books aare missing at least three pages and a cover and smell like dog puke. So I don't buy books from there very often.

These are normal books, and smell like books and not puke.

Oh, well, fine. Have a better library than me. I don't care.
