When is the Warbreaker release party? (Ookla?)
« on: May 25, 2009, 06:41:06 AM »
I've seen two dates for the release party, the 9th and 15th of June.

Can anyone confirm the date, place and time?

(Um, BTW Ookla, sorry for thinking you were Kas at Conduit)  ;D

According to the latest blog post it's on the 9th at the BYU bookstore.
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"

I know Miyabi is going to come down here on the 7th or the 8th, but I'm not sure where he is in Idaho (I think he's really close to the border.)  You might want to try him.

I'll be going down the seventh for gay pride in Salt Lake, then going to the signing.  I don't know if you want to be there for three days or go to gay pride, but if you don't mind all the extra crap I'll be doing I'd be more than willing to give you a ride.

I think Rose has sufficiently convinced me that accepting your offer would be wise, miyabi....now i'm starting to get a little excited about this release party. I've never really been to one before....

I told you before too, you make it as far as Poky then I'll give you a ride as well.  That would cut your costs way down.

I'll be there. I'm sure Brandon thinks I am a stalker, but I have had a lot of books too get signed for gifts. I love his signings because he is so willing to talk to his fans.

Hmmmm..... I might actually be able to make this one. It'll depend on whether or not my parents are willing to let me head down to Utah a few days earlier than them. Crossing fingers....

I might make it. We'll see what the evil homework monster has planned for me that day.

The sad thing is that I live 1.5 miles away and, if I go, would be biking. You Idaho peeps are making me feel rather uncommitted.  ;)
