A questions for Brits and Auzzies
« on: November 09, 2003, 11:18:44 AM »
What type of beveridges do you like? Could you tell me a few brand names and describe the drink if possible?
You dont have to say much for instance dont just say Tea say PG Tips tea. If you have any unusual Sodas Id be keen to hear them.

Thanks in advance Jeff

Cider - any brand.
Tea - any brand.
Fanta, Iron Brew (scottish fizzy drink), fruit drinks - any brand. Ribenna is too strong (although maybe the fact i put 1/4 dilute in may have something to do with that) and supermarkets own brand taste dodgy.. I don't like fizzy water. Coffee smells disgusting, so i have never bothered trying. And i don't like most alchol, i think. Beer is nasty. Not sure about wine.

I drink mainly water. Ordinary Tap water, run through a filter, and chilled. I also drink Juice once or twice a day. Mianly Orange, Apple or Apple and Blackcurrent. Whatever brand's cheap at the supermarket, but "Just Juice" tends to eb the best. For caffeine, I drink Coca-Cola, and very occasionlly, if I really need a hit I'll have a coffee. I don't really like the stuff, but I seem to be developing an addiction.

As for unusual Soda's, look for Sprite Ice or Pepsi Blue. Both come highly recommended. Sprite Ice is best described as Sprite lemonade which tastes like it contains Freon. Pepsi blue is overlyy sweet, caffeinated Blue stuff.

Comet: it makes you vomit!

No, very little (if anything) is cool about Pepsi Blue.

Forget Foster's; go for Toohey's.  I also like Cinammon Beer, which is like root beer, but spicy.  Also, has nothing to do with being Australian, but I love Cuban cordaditos.

Cinnamon Beer? mmmm.

The only Cuban stuff I've ever had were a few cigars I bought on Liberty at Tortola BVI.

This has been interesting..
