I can only assume you're playing FF 3 (6), the greatest of the Final Fantasy series IMHO.  Of course, I never did play any of them after it so I may be a little biased.

Heck, for all I know you could be talking about a later FF since they all run with the same themes.  

But if you are talking about 3 then rest assured that the War of the Magi will be explained in due time...

I'd never played any of them after FF6, until last week when I borrowed Spriggan's PS2 and started playing FFX. Despite my undying love for 6, I really think that FFX might be the best one. I'll have to play more to be sure, though.

FF6 holds a special place in my heart, too. But I have to agree with Fell. I think FFX is my favorite of the series now. Somehow, it just did everything right.

Opps... I wrote this for "rants and stuff" because o wanted to see if i could post anything.  Actually its mostly about my expeiances with FFX, Execpt for moogle part and the moogle part.

I still Think 7 had the best story.  I just hope that they remake it useing 10's graphics engine (which Square's president said he'd like to do).  Oh by the Way fell I'm going to want my PS2 back this thursday.  ;D

If they decide to redo 7, maybe they could tie up some loose plot ends as well. I lost track of how many there were after a while.
