What other townborn combo would be good like steel and iron? Pewter and healing(don't remember the metal for that) maybe?
A lot of people describe Scalzi’s Old Man's War novels as military science fiction, but I would classify its sequel Zoë’s Tale as a space opera. It’s a story about, well, Zoë, a teenage girl whose parents are invited to take leadership roles in building a colony on a new planet. For a better explanation than that, you can listen to Brandon's own explanation (it's much better), but the podcast is VERY long and I don't remember where in the podcast this was brought up.
They probably plan on a one game per movie type of thing. Just as is done with the Harry Potter movies/games. In my experience, such movie-based games are usually a quite boring version of the movie were you'll have to walk through the story yourself.
But who knows, maybe they'll do better
How do the Mage books by Karen Miller compare to the Empress books? I read Empress and pretty much hated it, but the Accidental Sorcerer, also by Miller, writing as K.E. Mills, I really enjoyed. So I'm torn as to read the other ones, especially since my library doesn't have them and I would have to buy them.
