I liked this. Mostly because I like war movies and they usually have a lot of no-name actors in them that do particularly good jobs. Except that one period where those few famous actors made some war movies... Those were, well to do but not well-to-do. Operation Condor Landing Squat is in effect.

I thought this movie was really well done. It could have done without the love story, but I just used the time devoted to that aspect to think over what was going on in the others.

I'm glad Rogert Ebert and I aren't the only ones who liked this film. Not quite a "Saving Private Ryan", but a goo film nonetheless. I've very happy to hear others on this site liked it.
