Oh really?   :P

I'm just happy to have a night crew back...even if there's just two of us tonight.

Hooray for insomnia, yes?

Out of curiosity...have you read Among the Hidden?  It's a YA book that's apparently part of a series...I read it awhile ago but didn't realize there were sequels.  I'm wondering if the others are worth reading.

I guess...it's good when I can do something slightly productive, like read or write, but my brain is like mush right now. Not sedated enough to go to sleep, but too exhausted to be useful.

Yeah, I think my body has basically decided that I'm never going to let it sleep again.  That's what I get for working the 7 am shift all week.  I'm never going to let them give me that many hours again.  (Remind me of this next time I tell them I will, okay?)

WORK! :P  Who needs to work? Who needs money? Seriously, I think I'm going to run off to the mountains and live like a wildwoman.

Hey, can I come?  Would we get to like, roast squirels for food and stuff?

'Course, that might be my only option if I remain unemployed. Do you think I'll get wireless on my laptop in the mountains?

Never eat squirrels. They are rabid. <Ask Chimera for the long and detailed and very funny *factual and true* story behind this.> As my diet is very select, we will only eat tree bark.

And possibly dirt. And worms. Preferably together--it's a delicacy in Guam.

Maybe you could get some kind of network connection through a pine tree.  Stranger things have happened.

The book is about a population controlled society where third children are forbidden and so they're hidden away from the world and never allowed to go outside or go to school, etc.  Probably the kind of book EUOL would lump in with The Giver, etc.  I really enjoyed it though.

And grubs.  Don't forget grubs.

In all seriousness, it is one of my goals to eat a live grub or whatever it is that people are always forced to eat in movies, just to say I've done it.

Well, my nephew likes bugs. I wonder how he would react if he watched you eat a live one...

Yea, he probably would call it "deep and profound"--which equals boring. I looked at the Amazon link. I think it looks interesting. Do you own it, or get it from the library?
