I do like it better; it's just that there are complications in my life right now that I have to deal with and the writing group has gotten pushed to the back. I still have to finish that class I got an extension on, and this last month has been kind of crazy socially and I'm still dealing with the aftereffects of a DTR last night, and I'm just not going to have the time to devote to writing group for the next week or two like I thought I would. I just keep getting further and further behind, I know, and I really do *want* to participate, but right now I'm just not able to make it a priority.  :-[  I know it throws you guys off, and I'm really sorry.

ok, uh..

Some didn't show up who had indicated they would. Some didn't read.

Uh.. that was REALLY disappointing.

Please let us know if you're not showing up. PLEASE pay attention when I post what's going to happen so you can ask for clarification or say it won't work.

RIght now, it's another week. Next wednesday. Feb 4. 10 pm Eastern. PLEASE HAVE READ BEFORE THEN! You should have the links. If not tell me. I'll fix it. If you have a busy Wednesday, read before then. This is a mutal aid thing, it's not fair to say you'll be there and ready and then not be.

If you have a problem with the time or the material, post here, we'll try to work it out as a group.

Sorry if it comes off too strong, i'm just a little upset that I waited till 10 and then had nothing to do.

For the record, we'll be doing Kije's story, and my chapter 5.

I'm sorry I missed you, Saint.

And 9pm is better for me, but I understand if that's too late for the ECs

I think Gemm would be ok with it, hwoever, I have to wake up at 6 to get to work. If we don't START until 11, then we go for 2 hours like we have been, well... 5 hours of sleep is VERY unfun. 10 is the latest I can go.

Yes Kije, I did. It wasn't there. And for the record, I'm closing that account (I have too many to keep track of), so please don't send any more emails there.

I understand Saint. It's just that I usually don't get home until 6:30 or 7:00, and on the off chance that we have to run errands, my chances of getting home by 8 are very small. Maybe in the future, if you don't mind, give 30 mins to get on rather than 15. I'm not saying wait if there's enough to get a writing group started, but if there isn't, don't disappear quite so fast.

What do you think?

it still would have only been three, because SOMEBODY, who can't be bothered to read this thread and thinks that is MY fault didn't even read. He didn't finish reading one of the stories until 10:15, and didn't even start the other. Partially because he suddenly realized that we had the group last night at about 9:20, then spent the next 40 minutes WHINING about how busy he had been and how long the chapter is instead of actually READING.

So , there wasn't a reason to hang around.

I'll wait up to half an hour if I know that there's something to wait for. I didn't wait for professors for more than 15 minutes, I don't wait for much that long. But I'll wait that long if I know I haven't just been ditched.

I was about to respond to that, but I've decided you know my feelings on the matter already.

I don't have a different email for you, MoD.  Mine's on my profile - you can send me a message to reply to, and I'll send you the story if you'd like.

Saint: I've read thru chapter 9, and have comments on all the chapters.  Would you like me to send them all to you now, or wait until we discuss things each week?  If I send them now I can still participate in the discussions, answering additional questions and such.

I can also help out with outlining or whatever you mentioned earlier.
