Yeah, so I'm gonna get this girl some flowers and a card for her birthday tomorrow. Thats a pretty sound plan, yeah?

Stacer... I've been asked out by girls before, even had a cute girl Id had my eye on but not said anything to yet visit my room and plant a kiss on me and berate me for asking her out yet. I've never run screaming yet, except from the girls I didn't find appealing (both in beauty and in soul).

Its a great plan, too bad you won't do it.

So, what flowers are you going to buy, and where?
How many?
What kind of card, funny, romantic, sentimental?

Not sure on the flowers, my friends are choosing those for me tomorrow. And I'm not sure what kind of card. What mayhaps do you suggest?

nothing suggestive, but nothing too mushy. Go for a good humor one that doesn't have a dirty joke.

So you suggest a card that is somewhat humourous, but the flowers aren't too much?

depends on what flowers. A dozen red roses? too much.
Three or four carnations (a good fallback flower)? nice touch.

a good florist will have a nice fall or winter assortment to choose from.Hibiscus's are nice

Saints right, nothing says creepy like a dozen roses from a guy whose never indicated he likes you.

Cute and funny is essential, go all sappy and that birds gonna fly.

You know what would be cool though while not a flower....
Bamboo,

You barely have to do anything to it, it has a neat serenity aspect that makes it attractive to students and its not gonna wilt away in 2 days.

Your local grocer will have the carnations. It's easier.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get carnations. They stink (like, literally stink) and they're ugly. Do something wildflowery or happy. Gerbera daisies are perfect--happy, bright flowers. Or the hibiscus. Calla lilies are perfect, too. Elegant and sleek.

I like the bamboo idea, too. Not too romantic, and lasts longer than a bouquet.

1) I don't think they stink, nor has any girl I've talked to before now
2) he WANTS to be romantic in the future. flowers are to open doors.
