I've always been cerious as to what was the most popular, and, well, I figured it'd be useful to find out.
-
I love Mountain Dew.
The other day I was on the phone with my friend and I said, 'I'm going to get a Mountain Dew.'
He said, 'Yummy.'
I said, 'Yeah, but I haven't decided what kind I'm getting yet.'
He said, 'I thought you said Mountain Dew.'
I replied, 'Well I have Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Throwback, Mountain Dew Live Wire, Mountain Dew Code Red, and Mountain Dew Voltage.'
ha ha.
Strawberry soda is a close second though, but it's hard to find around here.
-
Dr. Pepper is the best. All the way.
-
It's kind've a toss-up. I really love Root Beer/ Birch Beer, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood for something that sweet. In that case I will generally go for a Sprite. If I don't want a Sprite, I will always take a Pepsi over a Coke.
And recently I've really been enjoying Orange Soda, though in the past I've detested it.
-
So vote for all three! i did make it so you can chose up to three. :D
-
I picked Mt. Dew, Sprite and 7up. I like Mt. Dew the Most though. 7up is just an option if they don't have the first 2.
-
My fav is Sprite, but I love a ice cold Coke with a take away can't beat it.
-
of the choices, i pick root beer, mt. dew, and 7up, but its worth noting that i rarely drink soda.
-
I'll probably also purchase a 24 pack of bottled Dasani.
-
Well, this is something I wanted to know, as well as research. Plus, I figure it's useful for pretty much anyone planning a party.
-
I like unusual sodas. Apple beer, ginger ale, raspberry cream, etc. I also love cream soda - Henry Weinhard's makes the best cream soda ever.
But if I'm confined to the pedestrian, Dr. Pepper and root beer are favorites. Dr. Pepper's Diet Cherry Vanilla is the best. Their cherry chocolate flavor is disgusting. I can't believe they discontinued their raspberry cream flavor in favor of that atrocity.
I would note however that I will always choose juice over soda if the choice is available.
-
I hate anything and everything carbonated. I don't like how it feels.
-
I drink water and coffee, and that’s it.
-
In the way of other sodas, I like Apple Beer, Ginger Ale, Orange Soda, Grape Soda, and Cream Soda.
My top 3 are probably Root Beer, Apple Beer, and Ginger Ale.
-
I have an unfortunate addiction to Dr. Pepper. Unfortunate because I am passing it on to my kids. As soon as I have the will power I intend to quit in favor of no soda at all.
My husband grew up in non-pop household. I grew up in a house where my little sister's first word was "Pop." So I have actually tapered off from what I used to drink when I was single.
I would be interested to know if those who don't drink soda grew up not drinking it.

Actually, I grew up drinking all kinds of soda. It was always readily available. I stopped drinking it by just deciding that i was going to quit drinking it, as i knew how bad it was for me, and now the only time i'll drink it is if i have no real choice, and i'm thirsty. The only thing we had more often than soda in my house, was tea. Which i am still hopelessly addicted (if thats even the right word, since i could NOT drink it, i just love it too much) to.
-
Hm, Pepsi or Coke. Pepsi has more of "wake me up" effect on me- more often than not I'll feel sleepy half an hour after drinking Coke, but I'll drink both. I live in the town where Pepsi was invented, but Coke has a good presence here as well. Too bad they never serve both in one restaurant- then I could choose.
And I never, ever drink Diet anything anymore.
-
YAY for ROOTBEER!!!! i know a place that micro-brews their own...it is heaven
-
I grew up only being allowed to drink soda on the rare occasion.
At one point I bought a 100 oz. mug that I would get filled literally 4-6 times a day, then when I didn't want to drive to the gas station anymore I would sit and drink a 6-pack.
Yeah, 4-5 gallons of soda a day. >>' That wasn't good for me.
Now I drink a couple cans a day.
-
I was raised only drinking soda on occasion. I still only drink soda on occasion.
There's a wonderful pizza joint in Provo that brews its own root beer. They serve it in frosted mugs and it's excellent. Their pizza is really good, too (though pricey).
-
What pizza place are you refering to Jade?
-
Words cannot describe how much I love Dr Pepper (though "unholy addiction" comes pretty close).
-
I love cherry coke... it should be put on the post... i don't know if i like it or rootbeer more
-
Man, now I have a root beer craving. AAAH!!
-
What pizza place are you refering to Jade?
Brick Oven.
-
I like root beer... alot. But my cravings are starting to switch over to any type of fruit flavored soda. Like grape, orange, strawberry, etc.
I've even once had the delightful chance to enjoy banana flavored soda.
I'm starting to like soda that's been flattened a bit... not completely flat but easy on your throat. And I used to loathe cola drinks. I still do, but not as much. I'll drink some when I'm desperate or it's all that's available.
-
You ever try pineapple that stuff is good
-
oh I always get pineapple soda from the liquor store down the street.... delicious!
They've also got apple flavored soda, which is just... <3
I also really like big red and it's counter part big blue. at least, I think it's big blue... I haven't had it in a long time.
Also watermelon soda is good. Did you guys know Jolly Rancher makes soda?
-
I know this guy from South Carolina. His favorite soda, hands-down, has got to be Cheerwine. They don't sell it in Maryland where we live so whenever his relatives visit, he somehow convinces them to bring it up in pallets. The way he goes on about it is...frighteningly devoted.
-
Guava is also very tasty. (I've had that mostly in Southamerican countries, though.)
-
Mexican coke is always awesome because it has pure sugar cane
-
I'm really disappointed I missed the whole "cucumber Pepsi" thing. I would really have liked to try it.
-
I selected "Coke" because it's been my #1 Soda since I was a child, and "Other". Because Sun Drop is so amazingly delicious I'd actually be willing to pay a dollar a can plus shipping to order it from their website (you can only get it in a few places, like North Carolina and Kentucky).
-
Sunkist all the way baby.
-
I have had sun drop before but i like yellow mellow better
-
In Spain, I picked up an extreme liking for Fanta (lemon/orange), which (I think) is soda.
-
Yes, Fanta is soda.
-
Either Mountain Dew or Root Beer.
Mountain Dew for the long hours of gaming, Root Beer for when I just want to sit back and relax for a bit. :)
Sunkist isn't bad either.
