Duelling is a fun game you can play over IM (instant message).

You can get IM here:
www.aim.com (for AIM)
www.windowslive.com (for MSN/WLM)
www.gmail.com (for GTalk)
I think Yahoo is compatable with AIM.

You only necessarily need one, though it's often better to have all three, for compatability sake.  All are free to download and use, of course.

Yes.  I personally have all three of those (+ Skype), so I'm okay to use any of those three, though, given my druthers, I prefer to use AIM.
