No Truth in My Lies

I can't figure this thing out.
Lies or truth, it doesn't matter to me.
These words that lie here are only for me,
and when they are read will seem truth to you.

But who cares,
who knows,
where did they get that?

This prose,
that poem,
they all have gone
and instead are lying to you.

Looking into your eyes,
saying this is the truth,
but that was a lie; and look out below you're about to die.
