Some day, Brandon will be really hungry, and we'll never see Miyabi again. T_T
A lot of people describe Scalzi’s Old Man's War novels as military science fiction, but I would classify its sequel Zoë’s Tale as a space opera. It’s a story about, well, Zoë, a teenage girl whose parents are invited to take leadership roles in building a colony on a new planet. Zoë is an enthusiastic member of the group sent to colonize Roanoke, despite the risks—and the risks are considerable even before the political machinations of greater powers boil to the surface. Um, are you being serious?Yes. Signings are serious business.
If you are being serious, I didn't see him bring the box at TGS signing. Although I might have missed it.No, no. You misunderstood. Miyabi is Brandon's pet box of macaroni and cheese. All of the forum posts we see? They're probably Brandon going incognito. How else would he know so much about the books before anyone else?
So what's with the box of Macaroni and Cheese at the signing table?Oh, that's just Miyabi. Brandon brings him with on book tours.
choose your own adventure books might work as a web book or web comic better than as a book. There's MS Paint Adventures, but it only has one possibility explored. The audience decides what happens next, and then the artist draws it.
You're permitted precisely 7.5 seconds of fanboy/girlism, but any longer than that and security will escort you out. You're also limited to one squee per signing. Subsequent squees result in the above.
Wow... for serial? Is there a penalty for just acting normal?Yellow card. Two and you're out for the match. You only get the tarring and feathering if you act normal when you're talking to Brandon.
I'm going to have to do some serious prioritizing and whittle it down to one or two essentials. Hopefully I don't spend my 25 seconds drooling and trying to remember my name.Oh, that happened to me the first time I met him (the HoA tour).
...In alloy form, it produces various expanded physical and enhancement effects. (Including the creation of Mistings)
Having all these different Larasium alloys adds loads to the table of allomantic metals, who's to say they would do anything? GIving somebody the ability to burn copped by giving them something made of two components one of which would give the ability to burn all metals doesn't really make much sense....We do have the word of god on this. Alloys of Lerasium change someone into a misting.
I believe that's established as giving one the ability to burn copper.I'm pretty sure that that's what would happen if you ate the metal. Burning it would have a different effect.
