Yeah, that happened to me with Well of Ascension.
Max is a Shadowblade, a supernatural--and supernaturally competent--warrior bound to protect her witch Giselle. As a Shadowblade, Max doesn't age. She is better, faster, stronger than any ordinary human being. And she hates it. Hmmm... If you pay attention in Way of Kings, you might learn his name.
Basic easy run down of the Shards of Adonalsium.
Adonalsium was something/someone that at some point shattered. It is now what we call the Shards.
The Shards seem to have affects on people and things.
A character named Hoid was present when Adonalsium shattered. He is seen in every Sanderson book which contains a Shard of Adonalsium.
Any book referred to as a Shard World is a book which takes place in the Cosmere, the universe in which Adonalsium existed.
Japanese artistic tastes could easily be different than americans. So an American style cover may not sell in Japan.
Mistspirit? That could easily be a translation issue. It may mean something close to mistborn in the English. I think that fantasy and science are probably hard to translate.
does anyone know how long it takes someone to translate a book to Japanese or any non-western language? Is it 2 weeks of work? 4 weeks?
