I'm grumpy because I'm ready for bed and my roommate is in the room blaring her music, singing along to it, and playing solitaire. Of course, the logical thing to do is to ask her to leave--she can watch TV if she insists on staying up. But I hate confrontation. I figure I'll hang out here for a little while, and when I can't stand it anymore, I'll ask her to turn it off.

I hate being such a light sleeper. I need absolute silence and darkness. It is very inconvenient.

Especially if you share a room. I haven't had to share a room for about five or six years, and all I can say is I hope my husband has a close sleeping schedule and isn't a light sleeper. I've become more of a light sleeper in the last couple years, though, not having a roommate, which is funny. It goes back and forth, though--I lived on a busy intersection in Boston and slept through that, but when the sun came up through my east-facing windows, bam! I was up. It was too warm and too direct.

Yea, when I move out from my place in August I'm definitely going to get my own room. I won't have to live close to BYU campus so I should be able to find a private room at an affordable price.

I hate waiting for the cable guy. I've been sitting here for two and a half hours and still have an hour and a half to go in the window I had to allow him. If he gets here soon, I can go jetskiing, but if he doesn't, I'm stuck in town, probably by myself. All is not lost, though. There is the Folklife festival still, and there's always a movie. It's looking pretty cloudy today anyway. But still! I hate waiting for the cable guy.

I hate research papers with a passion that is difficult to comprehend. Especially papers in which we have to, for our grade, follow a writing process that in no way helps me to write my paper. And especially since I have three more papers to write in the next week or so. It is times like these that make my hatred of school so deep.
