I am as well, but confused too. How will this be live action when most of the actors will most likely be CGI? Sure it'll be pretty cool to look at and stuff, but boy am I worried or something.

Yeah, I think with the character base of Transformers you're looking at a film that's more CGI than a Star Wars prequel, which pushes the limits of the definition of "live action"

Which is not to say this film won't be hecka fun to watch.

Still, I don't know if even a live action Transformers could top the glory that was Transformers: The Movie.  That movie defined a year of my young life.

That was the movie that clearly separated the nerds from the "cool guys" as it came out the summer between my 6th and 7th grade years. I was a nerd, but i tried to make it sound like i hadn't gone willingly.

It might just be me but does the phrase "live action transformers movie" conjure up images of guys in big rubber transformer suits duking it out over the tokyo skyline?
