I might just have to put in an hdtv just as an inside joke! That would be too funny. Anything else a guy MUST have?

Oh, and Nessa, you're on!

No, YOU'RE awesome!!!

That seriously was a lot of fun, and for those wondering, I'm sure you'll know pretty darn soon. It's really cool and I can hardly wait. Man, that sounds so secretive. It's not really supposed to be.

I just got a good idea. How about I send it to you, my good ol' Squire, and you can tell me what parts I overdid the description on...or what parts might need more description (blah, blah, blah 'cause it's definitely not my strong point).

Don't worry about doing it right now though, as soon as finals are done and stuff, but I could use the info even after I send it in. Thanks!!!

Thanks, I've heard that before. I'll keep that in mind!--the only problem was that last time I got called on it and had to add things like that. Some people really like it, some don't. I'm half and half, but good advice!

I just finished a somewhat decent draft of 'Meet Your Match.' Ugh, I'm so bad at characterization. Basically I write the story and then I go back and add details like clothes and scenery and stuff. I was picking my poor sister's brain for the last few days...'Okay, Jack...I need another outfit!' I told her I'd name the main character after her, which I already did by the way, so it really wasn't much incentive, ha ha!

And Just a week ago, it was WAY TOO LONG!!! While I was writing it, I kept thinking...dash everything...this is no good, no good 'cause it kept stretching out longer and longer, but I figured I'd have to take care of that later. Well, I had my little sis Ash read it and she told me the parts that were 'the most' boring, so that I could cut those out first, and then we fought over what we would cut next. I think I broke her heart because I cut 100 pgs in one day! It was pure, pure torture, but I used that ms slashing procedure to do it (ruthless heart, shaking fingers, you know).

So, now I've just sent it out to my test group, the 'uneducated readers' as OSC would say. A bunch of friends who aren't editors at heart, but like a good read and are also painfully honest. It might help me cut it down even more once I get it back from them, I guess, though it's pretty good size now. They'll also help my guys be REAL guys (if there's a line a guy simply wouldn't say, it's out), that sorta thing. Ha ha, and I'm so in love with my bad guy...why does that always happen to me?

Anyhoo, I'd say I have about a week to two weeks to get it back from them and then I'm sending it to my publisher. What fun! Now, I can start Prank Wars!

Well, we're glad to have you back! I seriously can't imagine anything more cute than watching tons of little ballerinas dancing around. I just remember when my younger sisters were in ballet. They were just out of 'toddlerhood,' so they had those cute round tummies, bulging over the tutus.

Okay, so I finally sent out my chapters to you guys. Give me the head's up if you didn't get it or I messed it up somehow. Thanks!

Well, it definitely proves you're secure in your masculinity, which all my friends are by the way...uh, the male ones.

And no, I didn't do the audio version of my book, maybe this next one if I beg like a little girl!

Yeah? Well, at least I have a special reservation there...unlike some losers.

Those pranks were NOT me! Well, not the ones with the paint...anyway...and YOU know exactly who did those! And...I would never read anyone's honeypot notes...unless that person was sitting in front of me and knew exactly what I was doing, ha ha!

Oh, and I love stadium seating. We have them at my house house in Washington...but they are fun to mock, I'll admit! But then you were such an easy target.

Ah heck, here's a question for you? Did you hold Tenderheart against his will when he clearly desired only to be in our arms? He loved us better. Does that chafe? Well, it better.

Yeah, I was! I work as a special ed assistant in kindergarten (and let's not forget the recess supervisor...seriously the best job in the world). Anyway, the word on the street was that they were getting rid of the librarians in Provo and our librarian is the best librarian in the world, so I had to fight it!

I wrote an impassioned letter (that's what the herald called it--I hate being emotional, but I suppose that's what I am) and they did a story on it. And I had to do some scary things like go on the radio. Good news though. Our librarian at least gets to work until she's retired. The PTA is fighting to keep them longer. I'm hoping they win. I told them I'd help them with petitions or anything like that.

It just would be sad to get rid of the librarians because they seriously do more than we think they do (i.e: babysit and alphabetize books). I sit in on those classes (since I basically am like a student, think Billy Madison female version), and even in kindergarten (and first grade, which I've done for awhile), the librarian is teaching them some good research skills.

And since I really like these kids that I work with, I just want them to have the same learning opportunities that I had (well, I'd like for them to have better even, but I'm from Washington so...). Our librarian reads every book that comes through and she knows each kid and she kinda matches them up with books. It's really cool to see. She doesn't do that thing where she forbids the kids to check out certain books because they're 'supposedly' too high for that kid's level. No, she knows exactly what they're passionate about and suggests those kinds of books.

Woa, sorry...I only meant to write a little bit about this, but it seems to me that since the schools are stressing literacy so much at this time that they wouldn't take away this link between kids and books. I'd really hate to see this happen.

Oh, that's too bad. There is this awful flu going around though, so I understand BUT that means you missed Rob's thing. Maybe he can give you a recap. I'll give you the beginning part...he had a nail through his head and he was wearing these huge glasses...ha ha, he really was. Yeah, he took them off as soon as he could though.

So, uh, okay, I'll give a small recap anyway, Rob and Tamra talked about what made comedy funny and here's a few:

1-Close to home (something you can actually relate to)

2-the ridiculous (Seinfeld Style), though it can't be so ridiculous that you can't relate to it BUT the tiny things that irritate can actually make you giggle.

3-Taking the dramatic and making it light. I thought it was really interesting (and something I hadn't thought about before), but Rob pointed out that 'Life is Beautiful' is a comedy...a very sad comedy, but a comedy nonetheless. I remember laughing (and uh...crying) very hard while watching it. I suppose you could have someone tell the same story (say of a date gone wrong) and you can get a very different meaning out of each take, be it drama...or comedy, it's all in the take.

There, I hope that helps a little, and hope your tummy feels better, oh, will I resist, will I resist? No, I'm going to be cheesy...laughter is the best medicine, and I hope you feel better already (ack, I'm sure you probably feel worse)!
