I was just reading the Truthless (http://www.timewastersguide.com/forum/index.php?topic=7888.0) thread, and LoneStar mentioned that Syl says she "binds things".
And that reminded me of something.
From Jasnah's notes in the epigraphs (emphasis mine):
Taking the Dawnshard, known to bind any creature voidish or mortal, he crawled up the steps crafted for Heralds, ten strides tall apiece, toward the grand temple above.
Are the Dawnshards related to Spren in some way?

Maybe the dawnshards and the spren are made by the same shard. I get a feeling that the shardblades/plates where mere copies of the dawnshards and may not be directly made by a shard.

There was a Dawn Shard in Final Fantasy XII... Anyways ;D
-
Do you remember what happened to the evil vizier at the end of Aladdin's lamp after he wished to be a Djinn?
Yea, I think that's what happens to entities "bound" with a dawnshard. >:D

Oh, good, I wasn't the only one to think of that when it mentioned Dawnshards! Hahaha!
It's possible that they're the same Shard, even probable. That could lend more evidence of the Almighty being Unity. But I'm still leaning towards Transformation. (cuz then we'd have a Transformer in the Cosmere! :D)
