Well, I had all four taken out at once.  One of my bottom ones hadn't broken gum yet and all of them *apparently had extremely deep roots.  The somewhat braindead surgeon said that it would be extremely difficult and I *needed* to be put out.  I hate being put out...

I was eating in the car on the way home, no swelling or anything.  I went to a party the next day, karate after that and finally school.  I had no trouble whatsoever.  I think the doctor was over dramatisizing it...

I only had 2. Though actually right now I can't remember if it was top or bottom. I got them out AFTER my mission...they never bothered me, but I had to have some other oral surgery (removal of an odontoma that was blocking a tooth from coming down) and they suggested just doing it at the same time, and it sounded like a good idea to me. I was completely out, though I vaguely remember some tugging feeling. It took an hour longer than they said it would, and I'm pretty sure I went home and went to bed. It's kind of a blur though, really. I can't really remember -_-. I guess it wasn't a big deal or I would have.

I was happiest about getting that tooth in finally, since that started the process for the eventual removal of my braces.

I've had braces on and off again four times, and out of experience I am telling you, they do not hurt.  You have just been brainwashed is all...

Long story short, my genetics suck.

They were put on when I was about 5th (?) grade.  Then taken off to do some surgery, on again, off to shift the teeth with a retainer, on again (7th grade?), off because they thought they got it to the point where I didn't need them, on again because they were wrong, and off again a little more than a year ago.  Now I have a retainer and I'm told I might need them again...

actually that sounds more like your orthodontist sucks, not your genetics.

No, my teeth lining is very difficult.  I know it's genetics because my sister has it even worse than I do.  My orthadontist is doing fine except that one time they got it wrong.  But it's hard to tell because my teeth are stubborn.

it cant be that bad...trust, my front teeth were sideways, my canines were a quarter of a millimeter too long(_ like that long) oh and I had six extra teeth on the bottom(my adult teeth came in, then six of them fell out {with the braces on} and came in again)

My sister required a jaw operation including them breaking her jaw and wiring it shut for several weeks.

I thought we were talking about that, since I said she had it worse then me.  Yes, you probably had it worse then me, I concede to that.
