How's that for a birthday present

Actually it's pretty good, except that there's a court order banning sharp objects from within 20 feet of me.

I bet that makes whittling difficult.

Yes it does. Spoons just don't work as well. And they leave that scoop mark behind.

Boy.  These extra-long names sure do make the 'who's on' list at the bottom of the main forum page look different.

You guys are weird.

btw, whoever changed my nick for me? I think you screwed up the titles too. I'm Level 54 instead of Duke's Advisor again

and, yeah, I was the one who changed it back.

I changed it, because it was such gimme. In fact, I'll probably change it back again. Where's your Christmas spirit, SE?

"The firm of Scrooge and Marley wish you the Christmas you deserve."

Besides, you're a bunny. THAT'S not Christmas. what about the titles?

The titles are EUOL's deal, man. And I'm a LOST bunny! That's the whole point. I'm wandering around Christmas by mistake.

but that IS the point. it's not christmas themed. I did get it.

Ok, lots of weird things going on. I think the reaosn my title isn't showing up is because my class title has been changed to "Student of Honor." which it should not be. I hereby respectfully request it be fixed.

Bad, Bad!

So, exactly what happened here?  I'm trying to track down what causes people to be reverted to Student of Honor.  It happened once to me, and I didn't notice it until a great deal of time had passed.  This time I want specifics.

Tage, did you do something to SE's profile?

SE, when exactly did you notice you'd been changed classes?

All these elves.

I should make my nick into a Wellwisher and get 1 life for all you crazy elves.

Tage changed my display name
After that, i noticed that I was level 54 rather than having a title
It was later that day I realized my class had changed, though I suspect this is what caused the title change as well.

So, what what we have to do is discover what Tage did when he changed your display name.

Why did he change it, anyway?  That seems kind of odd.

It seems obvious to me that he changed it because he wanted Saint to join the Elf-ness and probably thought he would never do it on his own.

Oh come on, like the rest of you weren't thinking he should be "SaintNicholasEhlers."

Spoilsport.

Hey fuzzy and MoD, notice how it's only the guys jumping on the bandwagon? Hmmm. Does this mean we're above such inanity, or that we're already so much into the holiday spirit that we need not wear it on our sleeves?

Tage, that is brilliant.  I can't believe I didn't think of it.

SE--shame on you for spoiling the fun.

It means that I just got EUOL to change my class and I don't want to risk changing it to something different.

:)

Ha.  So far, things have only gotten messed up when Tage has streatched forth his omnipotent fingers to alter reality.  If you change your own name, you should be all right.

wait a minute

I don't conform and do what every body else does and correct an externally imposed conformity, and *I'm* ruining the fun?

Please.

Ah, but it was such a masterful pun.  Though, to be honest, he probably shouldn't have changed your profile on you.

I thought Jeffe's "SantaEhlers" was better, myself, since it flows better and santa is a derivitive of saint.

And Eric Speaks Espãnol
Title: Re: Christmas Persona

However, since he speaks it, it would be weird for him to be a Santa instead of a San, or a Santo.

I don't speak, it. I only read it. BUt it wouldn't be weird, since my native language is English, and in English, the Christmas hero is "Santa" not "San" or "Santo"

Ok, fine.  It would be weird for me.

However that's only another good reason for you to do it, probably, so I guess it's a win-win situation.  You change it, I find it weird, and you are in the Christmas trend.  You don't change it, you defy convention, and I don't get the weirdness.
