Very good aricle, with interesting points made on both sides. I tend to agree with the paradox that I like Marvel characters better but prefer DC overall, and I think you may have hit on the reason.

I tend to agree also. When I look at the graphic novels I own, the ones that have good story telling are mostly DC.

On the other hand, both DC and Marvel have their share of lame characters, but I think DC has more of them.

I forgot to add that before I finished writing this article, I had talked it over with Sprig, and a lot of the ideas I had were developed from ones he came up with. So I've got to give him props. It was already latent in my mind, but I probably wouldn't have mentioned a bunch of it if not for him.
