Ok, ppls, first of, this thread is not intended to reinstate the various arguements about who's insulting who, who's taken who's toys, the meaning of life, existence of god etc. Thank you.
Anyway.
Some fairly big developments:
- We've been having a lot more dramas, you can go, you can't, etc.
- A few failed attempts.
- We're picking Beca up tomorrow.
- We've finally found out what the root of the problem is.
So, we've finally had to offer to drive the 6 hours over and pick her up (they wouldn't even let her catch a bus 3 hours into armidale even tho, y'know, they've kinda let her catch a bus from brisbane to here... well over 6 or 7 hours).
And this morning, in a nice big lecture to Beca we found out what the problem is:
<please insert drumrolls, cymbal clashes etc. These sounds are not complimentary from the establishment>
The mother is concerned about -her- reputation. I mean, ----ing hell. She's happy with letting Beca go, but she's concerned about their REPUTATION!?? Even among Beca's friends, who all really want Bec to go, and have been trying to help? Its a joke, I swear the woman is stupid, constipated, and more scatter-brained than concievable!
At least we're seeing each other. Ye gods, someone shoot me, 5 months wasted because the mother was too constipated to just come out and discuss her worries... *sigh*

Yeah... I later found out she also came out with some stuff about my meaning more to Beca than she does, that that hurts her, and that therefore she doesn't like me... I was disinclined to disbelieve this story of hers, but I'm half convinced now.
She's made up a story to tell people = Beca's "sick father" (her real father doesn't live with her mother)... and she's even told ppl. Beca and her father kinda pointed out that when ppl find out, which they inevitably will, it'll blow up in her face and make her look even worse, but... *sigh*.
But yeah, Fuzzy, you're right, at least I am getting to see her. I'm just a little stunned over her mother...

Um, yeah, she's concerned about her reputation as a mother, and her daughter's reputation. *sigh*.
And now the story is slightly more plausible, she's realised that the old one will just be stupid, so its now Beca is going to see her father then seeing me... *bigger sigh* I suppose the woman *does* have an intelligence over 25...

Yes! Tell Bones to get his fat butt on here, and while you're at it, get Matt, Jarrah and so forth as well. Jai already knows the site and doesn't care, while we're all better off if Dane doesn't come. Pocket, on the other hand, will say "Psshh. Nerds" more often than Tage. Which has to be a record.

Bones is so fat, when he hauls butt, it takes TWO trips.
When he sits around the house, he really sits AROUND the house.

Anyway, getting back to the original point of this thread, I've just got back from dropping Beca off. She stayed for a week, and... yeah. Next meeting is looking to be april - 2 months, but a helluva a lot better than the 5 months to the day from last time.
And after those two months, she'll be old enough to be able to catch a bus over. Plus I should have got a job and have the money to do the same back...

Whats even scarier is that he can think up all this and not be mentally blinded or worse... there's something distinctly disturbing about JP I've decided.
