Well Just look at it this way: you might get free internet (but it would probaly be crapy dial-up) and AOL is still the only realy family frendly IP out there.  That last reason is about the only good thing about AOL.

to be fair, the position is editing the home page for AOL for Broadband, which technically isn't any more evil than working for Excite or netscape or any other home portal...

iow, I wouldn't be responsible for crappy technical services. I'd be responsible for crappy content.

Hey but if you work in the BB deparment maybe you'd get free DSL!  Working corprate or prgramming at AOL would be evil in my mind, but editing the homepage is actualy realy cool and would look realy good on a resume.

If I worked for an MLM company for two years (and will likely get hired at another one in a few weeks), then you can certainly work for AOL. Just, you know, steal a lot of office supplies.
