Title: Bond. James Bond.
Post by: House of Mustard on July 28, 2004, 03:24:34 PM: CNN reports that Pierce Brosnon is done with the series (though it may be a salary negotiating ploy). However, it lists the following actors as possible future Bonds:

Speculation surrounds Brits Clive Owen, Ioan Gruffudd, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Gerard Butler, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor, as well as Aussies Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger and Eric Bana.

Hugh Grant is one of my favorite actors, but I cannot imagine him as James Bond.

As if I go to see Bond movies anymore...

Ioan Gruffud, by the way, is playing Richard Reed in next year's Fantastic Four Movie. That's more or less all I know about him.

Has Colin Firth ever done anything remotely action-related?
