Western WA and OR constitutes one of 2 temperate rain forests in the world. The other is in New Zealand. So it's not really fair to compare it's weather to other places in the U.S. cause there isn't a place in the U.S. like it.

Now would be a good time to move to WA before the home prices get over-inflated like CA.

Balitmore, Maryland (north of DC) is listed in the "southern" region. While DC itself is in the "northern" region. Dumb.

Baltimore and Seattle are still cheaper than San Franscisco at 689,200.

Obviously we are dealing with extremes.

If I was done with my undergraduate degree, I would consider it. I'd apply, at least. But, alas, I still have two more classes--and they won't be resolved within 4 to 6 months unless I try to overload myself again, which wouldn't be wise.

We should have, but there are some states who really are lamenting their lack of population, and who, therefore, are still willing to offer land, something they have plenty of, to get population in return.
