Title: Ruroni Kenshin: Samurai X Reflection
Post by: Spriggan on April 15, 2003, 01:29:00 PM
All I can say is wow  :o.  Any fan of the series must see this.  It's depressing but the animation is even better then Trust/Betrayal.  You get to see several scenes from the first two seasons in this realy well done style and the Sword Fights are the best i've seen in an anime, ever.  And the best part is you get to see the Fight between Eine and Kenshin which was the topic of the third comic book story arc but changed in the TV series.

This is an OVA, right? Where does it take place in the Kenshin storyline?

15 years after the series end, with flashbacks through out the seires (actualy 3/4 of the series is retelling things or stuff from the 3rd story arc)

A mate d/led and burned a bunch of kenshin stuff a while back. I borrowed them. I absolutely adored OAV - the one with kenshin with very dark red hair. There were only 4 episodes of that. After watching that, i hated the other series. Kenshin turned into a pokemon. Never watched them, although my mate says they are really good later on in the series.

I share the same view about Kenshin, Entropy. The "backstory" OVAs were nothing less than amazing, and the series had some good points, but it really turned into a glorified Dragonball Z.

Ha you haven't seen the 3rd TV season that is different from the comic, sad very sad.  Reflection is the final OVA in the series that basicaly ends the Kenshin saga.  It's new, just came out here in the states it should be out where you are soon entropy.
