review: National Treasure

I admit, I have a couple issues with this film jsut from the previews, though I'll probably see it with my wife based entirely on the rating description Skar gave.
Mainly, if they're trying to keep this treasure secret, then why on earth do they leave clues about how to find it? Even the most difficult clues can be found. That seems silly.

Also, is Cage ever NOT obsessive?

Gah!  The responsibility!

Fortunately, I think you'll like it, for all the reasons I gave in the review.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it, since I have my expectations set. I don't get to many movies since my wife and I have different tastes in movies. We can both sit down for a fun action flick though, so long as the "adult" content is appropriate.

Personal I think it looks like a good film, however N. Cage has never been able to hole the leading role.  So I don’t known how the film will be.  Cage on the other hand does a great job as the second leading man.  Anyways my dad, who never wants to go to films actually want to go with me to this film.  So I hold my judgment till after I see the film.

He was a good lead in Trapped in Paradise. At least, I thought he pulled it off.

Raising Arizona too, come to think of it. Though you can probably contribute a lot of that to the Coen brothers

Heh, heh, heh.  Thanks.

We'll see if they send me invites to anymore screenings.  None pending, which worries me, but then, were in kind of a low period between the summer and holiday blockbusters.

Okay, this movie just made my list of movies to see.

Me too. I've been wanting to see it, because of the previews, but now I'm going to actually try to see it.

See, when I first heard about this movie, I heard it was like the DeVinci Code. So that turned me off to this movie. Now that it is out and people say it's not like the DeVinci Code, I'm willing to go see it.

I usually like Nicholas Cage, when I'm not thinking too hard about it. It just looked like a fun movie. I hadn't really thought of it being like the Da Vinci Code.

So I saw this today. It's fun, but I don't think I could bring my archeologist sister to see it. I can just imagine her cringing, screaming, and complaining the whole time. This movie is a flick, hence it is best not to think too much about the plausibility of some scenerios. Just enjoy it for what it is.

I'm interested in seeing a clean action flick, but disturbed by the fact that almost every critic I read gave Sponge-bob Squarepants a much higher score than this movie.
