USAA, however, isn't really an "insurance company." Yes, they do sell insurance, quite a lot of it. But they also do Credit Union, loans, credit counselling, retirement advice, and information about a hundred different topics. They've very cool, and since (I think) they're non-profit, they can do a lot of neat things. It's worth being a military brat solely for USAA membership.
