episode 3 dvd!!

this is my first post so i will see if it posts like i want it to.  Anyway, a friend of mine works at blockbuster so we got to watch episode 3 dvd yesterday(2 weeks till it comes out).  The movie is still the same as usual but the extras are on a seperate dvd.  and i must say they did a good job at those.  there are lots of different things to watch.  almost made me reminiscent of lord of the rings when i watched the "in 60 seconds" documentary that went about 1 hour.  they broke apart one scene that was about 60 seconds and showed all the people that worked on it.  The other cool smaller documentary was "the chosen one", which was about anakin through the 6 movies.  There is also some bonuses for those of you with xboxes.  2 playable demo levels of star wars battlefront 2 are on it, one flying and one standard fighting level.  and you get to use jedi now(in the level you get obi wan after a little bit)!  well, that is all i have to really say, a nice finish on a great movie set(hexology?).

I'm glad there are some good bonuses on this DVD, I allwayse felt Lucas skimped a bit on that in past DVDs and Sets.

Yeah, I got ep3 (well, ordered) for my wife for her birthday this weekend (for those of you unmarried, if there's one thing you can do, even if she's not a gamer, make sure you can buy her movies YOU love for HER gifts). Our main worry is that there will  be a boxed set in a few months that we'll want. But,... oh well.

They've already announced a new boxset but it's ep 4-6 again, and almost the same as the current on bonus material wise.  I dono, maybe after the new DVD format settles in and they do something really cool I might by a new SW boxset but not anytime in the near or extended future for me.

The deleted scenes are cool, especially the first one.  Quite funny.
