Anyone else read this book yet? I thought that it was probably the best in the series. (But I might just be saying that while still on my Dresden high after finishing it).

I've just started the first one. I have a ways before I get to book 12 :P
-
I'll be reading it this weekend. It had better be good considering how crappy Small Favor and Turn Coat were.
-
Yeah.
This book is great.

There was so much win in that book. Have you got to the ending yet?
-
Yup. All done. Though Thomas' and Murphy's arcs still have some fail in them, the book was one of the best. at least we only have to wait till October to find out WTF happened on that last page.
Best line: "So you hit that." Sanya.

Bookstore: You read more novels than anyone I have ever met. I hope you get discounts on them from the bookstore.

The only books I buy are imports from the UK, which I preorder to get them cheaper than the US counterparts. All other books I either get for free as review copies, or I go to the library.
If I absolutely must get a book in the US from a bookstore, I get it from Borders with a 40% off coupon. I no longer buy books from Amazon.

how did you get people to send you review copies?

I know authors, editors and agents who introduced me to publicists. Or, I introduced myself at conventions and gave out business cards. Not to mention, I'm awesome.

How do you score the 40% off coupons?

Border's Membership-thingy. I get them in my email on a regular basis, along with other stuff.

@bookstore: so do you own an independent bookstore?

No. Though several authors have told me I should. I think it's too much work at the moment.
I run a book review blog.
