Title: Napster is free again
Post by: The Holy Saint, Grand High Poobah, Master of Monkeys, Ehlers on October 02, 2006, 01:32:08 PM
for a limited time. Seven days, to be exact.

However, I have a fast connection, and I can download a lot in seven days.

Of course, it's all wma format, but hey, free music legit. I can deal with that.

freaking awesome, but you do know that's Napster to Go meaning after the 7 days you can't play that music anymore without stripping the DRM.

Just checked it out. It's a 7-day free trial thing. (http://www.napster.com/choose/index.html) I thought you meant that for some reason it was only free this week!  ;)

Let us know if you can still play the music after the free trial is up. I might test it myself, actually.

If nothing else, you have burn rights, so you can just make CDs

They don't charge you till the offer expires, though.
