...are due by August 15th. You know the drill! If you were an alpha reader, post here and remind me to stick you in the front of the book!
-
I read it! I even sent comments on this one!
edit:
Oh yeah, and make it Eric J. Ehlers, if you would, please. The middle initial adds a certain amount of Je ne said quoi that I like. Or perhaps just some snootiness and pretentious airs. Either way, I like it.
-
I read and gave comments. (spelling: Jillena O'Brien)
-
Do I count for this one? - Steve Diamond
-
Oh, I think I definitely count on this one. ;D
-
Kaylynn ZoBell. Or do I not count because I'm not going to get to finish it?
-
Sadly, I didn't read this one. Still haven't, yet. I think this is one I'm going to have to read in finished form, because I'm so behind on my to-be-read pile that it gives me a headache thinking about it. The little-discussed downside of getting your dream job: never leaving work at the office.

See, I have ths problem reading EUOLs books. I tend to put them off for a bit because I know once I start, I will be up into the early hours of the morning. I remember reading Alcatraz and getting to the point where he says something like, "By now I have probably kept you up until the early morning..." I looked at the clock and saw 4am and said, "Crap...well...to far along now...might as well go around the horn..."
I love reading stuff like this!

If I don't post here, will you not do whatever name thing for me that made you cackle in evil delight?
-
Hmmm, strangely enough this was the only book of the series that I read. But I did enjoy it, so if you wish you may have my name writ down upon that page. Zachary J. Kaveney will do, since Eric's doing it too. How's about a list with everyone with a middle name beginning with J.? That'd be neat. Unless it's just me and Eric, then it's just super-cool.
-
I read and commented. :) Kristina Kugler is the spelling.
-
Peter Ahlstrom.
Karen hasn't read it, but we're sure to read it together once it comes out and make a huge list of typos like the previous two times.
-
I read and commented ;D
~Marianne Pease

Well, my emailed comments were pretty brief and therefore maybe not so notable. I had planned to follow up with a more detailed, chapter-by-chapter comment sheet.... (Stupid grad school and work--eating up all my time. Funny how that works. Two more classes to go, and I will be a student no more!)
So I don't know that I warrant being mentioned in the acknowledgements, though. It's your call. But I sure enjoyed devouring the manuscript. It made me cry near the end, and it certainly did justice to the series. :D
-
Isaac Stewart, read and commented, etc.
-
I read it . . . and I'm pretty sure I commented on it too. Krista Olsen is the correct spelling. ;)
-
Yeah. I read it and made comments, some of which were even appropriate. Bryce . . . not sure what last name to put. Moore? Cundick? You get to choose.
Between those two last names. No fair making one up. :P
-
Bryce J. Hamsterlicker
(By the way, I was an alpha for this one.)
-
Read and commented. C. Lee Player.
-
..i don't know the drill, and I'm now slightly confused..o.o
-
If you would have actually read the part after "You know the drill" you wound't be confused.
-
Candy, this is a place for my alpha readers (friends of mine that I know in person) to voice up if they read Mistborn 3 when it was in draft form and gave me comments.
-
I'm even more snooty than the folks who want their middle initial included. Eric James Stone.
-
-laughs-
Lucky...
-
no, i insist that I am the snootiest Eric on this forum who has the middle initial J. The initial is just so much more understated and therefore condescending.

I have the same problem, which is why I still haven't read scribbler. I'll get around to it, I swear.
Anyway, I also read and commented. Paris Elliott is the proper spelling.
-
You'll probably remember me, I'm the guy who pestered you with all manners of emails for a time there asking about writing and commenting on your book. It'd be cool to be in the front of the book. Think of me ;)

Last chance for this as I'm turning in the copyedit soon.
Luke, did we talk about Mistborn 3? I'm trying to find your emails to me. Could you email me with your address, so that I can search my huge inbox and find our correspondences?
-
So an alpha reader reads earlier drafts than a beta reader? Or is it pretty much the same thing?
(Just being nosy here)
