So I just watched the condensed version of the miniseries on NBC, and it makes me want to watch the show that's going to be on SciFi. Too bad we don't have that channel. Anyone else see this, either tonight or previously?

It was a bit slow at times, but it was entertaining nonetheless, and I liked the twist at the very end.

Nope, I refuse to watch it becasue of how different it is from the original.  The basicaly took out all the things I like about the original and replaced it with very generic stuff.

I don't remember the original very well. I used to watch it as a kid.

I will watch it for the same reason I watch Smallville
Although the story is GREATLY altered,  It's intresting to see what can be done with the same concept

I think I will probably watch it just to see how far they alter the original concept, but I doubt that I will enjoy it as much as the original.

Afterall, I am one of those who pre-ordered the original series on DVD, so I am a little biased.
