One week from today. These tickets are burning a hole in my pocket.

I'll probably see it at some point during the next month.

If you don't already have opening day tickets, Gemm, be warned that they might be very hard to come by. Only one local theater had any left, and we've got several big theaters.

Well the theater me and my friends go to usually isn't that bad. There was one movie it was really bad like that. Episode 2 of Star Wars. That was the only time there was a magnaumous amount of people.

I'd say that RotK will have analogous crowds to SW2. In fact, LotR is probably more popular now than SW

Though tickets aren't THAT hard to come by. I just bought mine last night. But then, the DC has more than 2 theaters within a 15 mile radius, unlike Provo.
I can't do midnight again, to get the first showing of the country like I did with TTT. Not because I couldn't get tickets, but because I'm old.
I mean, because last year my work shift didn't start till noon, so getting home at 4am wasnt' so big a deal. However, to get to work on time now, I have to wake up at 6, which makes that sort of activity on a week night sort of a pain.

Actually, the Provo/Utah County Area has had three new theaters open up in the past year. All of the theaters are sold out for RotK through the weekend.

And if rottentomatoes is to be believed, RotK is going to be incredible. Even people who disliked the first two, like Ebert, are raving about RotK.

Uh, just a question, Fell.  How good a theater is this one you have tickets for?

It's the worst one I could find. I really tried to get one with no sound whatsoever, but there aren't any like that apparently, so I just hired a guy to sit behind us and talk through the whole thing.

The theater looks very nice, and I've heard very good things about it from some pretty discerning movie-goers. And their sound system is brand new.
