So I'm nearing the end of a poetry unit here at school and our final project is to make a portofolio of our ten best poems, so I'm trying to decide if this one should go, tell me what you think, as well as what you think it's about, if you would be so kind.

Lefty, by Max Raden

Have you ever seen the moon in someone else's eye's?
It's beautiful and unbearable but seems to stay only the night.
It happens so fast but lasts forever.
It's terrifying and surreal in a soothing sort of way.

The rush
The thrill
The contradictory screams and inappropriate laughter
A celestial balancing act begetting a secret known to those who have known
A white feather, a red horn, a halo and a pointed tail,
Tonight they share the same body.

All that is, was, and will be
Culminating in this commonly occurring rarity of life.

You don't want to fall asleep,
You can't fall asleep.

Who knows what will happen to the moon.
If you aren't awake to stand guard
The sun might chase it away.

You must stay awake
To preserve the light
To save the terror.
You must stay awake

It's not even full
And the stars have yet to dim...
You can't fall asleep..
But you do.
Night becomes more silent than ever before
All is lost...

But is it really?
When the moon is in somebody's eyes and not the sky...
It will still be there in the morning

her mother is really funny, well her entire family is, including her father, mr ahnarii a little bald saudi arabian man with a big, big, mustache, he was a US marine for like 25 years, he always tells us "About the time I hotwired that tank"
and her older sister Pindi(19) makes some of the funniest shirts you've ever seen, and tasha is just funny in general, for example.
Karen our excessively white and insecure friend was reading a national geographic about the plight of women in muslim countries...
Karen:I can't beleive they do that to women, don't you find it offenseiv tasha?
Tasha: Well first of, I'm hindu not muslim, and as for coverage I thing it's appropriate and even necessary.
Karen: WHAT!?
Tasha: I mean look at us*points to her sister* If we weren't covered up do you think they'd ever get anything done over there?
Then I proceeded to laugh for almost five minutes straight.

Somebody please tell me I'm not insane.

the best thing to do is turn off the options that make it do things automatically, becuase it ussually does it too many time or just plain wrong. I personally tend to use it only for checking and reconciliation and i can't tell you how messed up peoples balances are when the bring up their accounts for me to do their taxes... it's an affront to the lord I tell... god created us jews to be accountants stop trying to play god with accounting programs!!! I'm just kidding...but seriously, turn off automation that ussually works for me.  also it might be doubling because it's adding contributions withheld from your paycheck and also matching another contribution with your paycheck.

i only sleep every couple of days, ussually every 3rd or fourth day I'll sleep, this is probably why I laugh when people tell me they've had a long day... oh yeah well my day was so long the sun set a few times before it was over.

we had we had gremres with bannock and pommegranit pie
and since i doubt you know what gremres is...it's kind of like a thick fish stew made with potatoes, cream, corn, salmon, crab, catfish, lamb, onions, leeks, several typs of bean, and a few local( as in kairegaine not santa barbara) vegetables with hard to pronounce names
and bannock is a large soft bread loaf made with several different typse of wheat(perfect for dipping) and I'm pretty sure the pommegranite pie is self explanatory.
