For those of you who love SW:
Back in Jan., my bro, Eric, and I went to the spectacular SW exhibit at the MoS in Boston. Impressive! Everything from an AT-AT and a thermal detonator to Vader's original costume. So now that I've *finally* put the pics online, I thought some of you might like a trip to a Galaxy Far, Far Away (http://www.snapfish.com/share/p=207251140918931608/l=83577912/otsc=SYE/otsi=SALB) (in Boston). :D
-
I heard about that before I left Boston and wasn't able to go. Nice.
-
It wants sign-in.
-
Too bad you weren't able to go yourself, stacer. But I'm glad you liked the pics. :) It's funny how I heard about it. My roomie, who really isn't into sci fi or fantasy saw a billboard w/ C3PO. You know, there's *so* much going on in Boston that I wonder if I would've been clueless until it was too late!
Entropy, you just have to create your own account is all. It doesn't cost anything or commit you to buying anything. I know it's kind of a pain, though. I guess I should look into that paint bucket site that stacer and some others use...

photobucket.com.
And yeah, even I am annoyed at having to hand out a junk email address to look at your pics. Will I remember my registration info the next time you post pics? probably not, then I have to give up another junk email address. too much work. I'll imagine the pics were cool.
-
I've found that online, if you want someone to bother looking at anything you link, making sure they don't have to put any effort in. It takes far less time for me to click the little red x than to register at some random thing.
-
Hard to access my snapfish account is. Get a photobucket account, I will...
Edit: Decide you must how to view them best. Snapfish, you could. Photobucket, you must.
Look! (http://photobucket.com/albums/f306/shrain78/Far%20Far%20Away/) Or forgive you, I will not. ;D

thats the exhibit that used to be in the Air and Space museum and its a great collection. Its neat seeing the real costumes and stuff.
-
It was in DC first, huh. Cool. Sure am glad it came to my quadrant, though! My bro liked it a lot too. I drove him to the airport the day after. We had *quite* the road trip from UT to MA. Whew.
-
Cool beans. As a bonus I even get to see what Shrain looks like.
-
lol. Not sure how much of a "bonus" that is...
-
I just used bugmenot.com to find a snapfish login.

For some reason I imagined Shrain with straight hair. *shrug* I think your hair is cute. I have bone straight hair, which can be bland at times.
-
Thanks, Nessa. :D Don't hate your straight hair too much. When I was young, I'd wish for my curls to go away. No frizz control back then. At least none that I knew about. lol. Besides, it used to be much longer, which made it more of a trial.
Hey, I'm curious about what you look like. Do you have any pics of you and your fam online, Nessa? And what about Fuzzy (check your IM), entropy, Jeffe, and Ookla? I'm rather curious about the rest of you (whom I haven't met) now that I've "outed" myself. haha
-
Im on my 4th regeneration so I look different than I used too.
Actually I would post, but Im afraid Jam would just tell me how sexy I am.
Or you could check out page 1 of introduce yourself. :D

Shrain, your wish is my command. The family picture I have is a year old, and in it I'm still carrying around baby weight, so I won't post that :P. Do you know how hard it is to find a current picture of myself when it's usually me behind the camera? Here's one of me (http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/vanessa_wedding.jpg) at my brother's wedding (I'm second from the left, in the blue flower skirt) last August. I have a website with a 'blog' you can read, the URL is on my profile.
Here's Spencer (http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/spencer_cookies.jpg) (he's 22 months), Carter (http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/carter_tutu.jpg) (3 years), and Amber (http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/amber_school1.jpg) (7 years).

Nessa: what cuties! For some reason I was surprised you weren't a brunette. lol. Thanks, those were nice. :)
Jeffe, will do.
-
For some reason I was surprised you weren't a brunette.
Funny, that's the same thing my mother-in-law said when we first met. She also didn't expect me to be so tall (I'm 5'9"). I guess she expected Mark to marry someone more like herself (brunette and short).

Funny, that's the same thing my mother-in-law said when we first met.
That's also the same thing the guys here said when I posted a picture. Woo-hoo, another blonde.
-
*sigh* I'll just have to console myself by reminding myself that Leia was brunette. ;D
Edit: Hmm, I just realized a mistake w/ one of my photos. I think the pod racer is Sebulba's not Anakin's... oops. (shrug) Guess I'd feel worse about it if it were something from the original trilogy. Still, I ought to fix it...
-
My wife is a brunette.
-
Ex-cellent.

Cool. You know, I can't tell you how comforted I am to know that our nation is powered by parsley. lol. Jeffe, I salute you.
-
atomic parsley to be sure... but its a much maligned seasoning.
-
Yeah, people usually just pick it off their plates and toss it. A shame, really.
My favorite seasoning is cumin. Though I'd sure like to taste some Spice someday, even if it does make you kind of crazy. ;D
