Impressive artwork.  It seems they really worked with Tor to make sure the artwork was based on how Robert Jordan saw the characters instead of how some of the covers, for example, have misrepresented the content.

Well, before they did Eye of the World, Dabel Bros did the Prequels. I thought they were excellent. The art was very nicely done.

(Ahem, I liked them so much that I never bothered to read the books . . .)

Jordan wrote a short novella for the Legends Anthology.  It was called New Spring.  He later expanded it into a full novel.  It tells the story of Moiraine and Suian as newly raised Sisters, and how they started the search for the Draogn Reborn.  It also tells the story of how Moiraine met Lan, and how he became her Warder.  The Dabel Brothers started a comic adaptation of the book that should be finished some time this year.

Before his death, Jordan also planned to write two more Prequels - one was a continuation of Lan and Moiraine's story, explaining how they arrived in the Two Rivers just in the nick of time.  The other story was to be about Tam al'Thor and his time in Illian, and why he chose to return to the Two Rivers.  Brandon Sanderson said there are notes for those two stories, and they may be written at some point, but that is up to Harriet (Jordan's wife and editor) and Tor Books.

I want to know who this Dale Bowman is that Rigney want to beat up so badly. ;P

I think a novel exploring the character of Amos Trask/Domon Bayle (Trenchard the Pirate might be fun).  See we still don't know why it seemed so logical to Domon that the trollocs and dark friends were chasing him instead of Mat.  hrmmm?

I'm thinkin there's a story there.

I didn't know about the graphic novel until it started being discussed here.  Now I have to add another book to my need to buy list.
My husband once said that my book hobby was cheaper than other women's love of shoes, shopping or jewelry.  Now that I have to buy Brandon's new books in hardback, and this one, and the other interesting books that I learn about here (we have a very small library) he might change his mind.

The artwork looks fantastic. I haven't read the prequels but I think I"ll definitely have to get them as well as the new ones coming out now ;D
