Im guessing 2 hours a week.... but having never IM'd a game I dont know....

I am also looking into ways to set up an audio chatroom... is that possible at all on irc?

Use Teamspeak. very nice Voice program that also has text. More like logging into an irc chat than IM, but still.

Hmm I found them, and they'd be great but they dont have a Mac version yet... Rodger Wilco has a beta though and It might work....
and iVisit works for Mac and PC
