Blacker Darkness is funnier. Honestly. If you could only get that 'plot' thing down, Fell, you'd have it made.
However, Omens is a very amusing book--especially in concept. While the line-by-line isn't particularly hilarious, the macroscopic workings are all pure genius. I'm about halfway through, and I've enjoyed it so far.

I assume Blacker Darkness is a book that Fell wrote?
I do enjoy Good Omens. As far as co-authoring goes, though, I'm convinced that Neil Gaiman wrote the drama and that Pratchett wrote the goofiness. And the footnotes, obviously.

I wondered about that to. I thought I was able to determine a difference in writing style between some of the viewpoints, but I'm not sure. It feels like the angel/devil were written by one person and the boy by another.

I'm in a flurry of edits right now for Blacker Darkness, actually. I did some research and some poking around and realized exactly how I need to end it. It's all going pretty smoothly now.
Maybe that's my secret to writing endings--come back to the book two years later.
Anyway, EUOL, I'm flattered that you find my book funnier than Good Omens. So do I, of course, but I always wrote that off to personal vanity.
