Kind of a short review, but I agree with most of what was said. Neverwhere is interesting to me because it is not a perfect book--it was Gaiman's first novel, and you can tell in many places that he was just getting accustomed to the new medium. I learned recently that it was first written as a miniseries, and I'm dying to see it--it would be very interesting, I think to see how the characters developed from one version to teh next, and how much the actors influenced the characters.
