that was quite a stretch on the answer to that riddle.  Seems like you have to bring most of the answers and even then they are based on more imagination than one distinct answer.

This is a popular brain teaser format, here, cyan. the idea is that the 27 can be put in to 9 sets of three where they are connected by using one word, like the sets Eric has presented. Then those 9 are 3 sets of three for the same thing. Those final 3 words work together to get the final answer.

i was talking about the firemeboy riddle.  the answer was quite a stretch, it seemed like there wasn't one real answer.  just annoying.
