Well, when you ditched us we actually didn't get them into their hotel after all--it wouldn't be for another hour and a half, at that point. So EUOL and Ookla ended up coming with us after all to Chilli Duck, the best Thai restaurant in Boston.

The dance wasn't much to talk about. After wandering through the jugglers, belly dancers, and election craziness (I think they were doing a political convention for SF/F writers?), we went into the Mended Drum and saw some more very nice costumes, like an old couple in Victorian dress. Then there was a strange woman singing badly in the tavern. We finally found the dance, which was only in one of the bigger rooms--I thought it would be in the ballroom--and there were only about 20 people in there, and we'd missed the Renaissance dancing. They were onto fox trot, swing, etc.--and for that, you need a dance partner.

So we wandered about a little more, and Brenna figured out that it was her phone vibrating, not the rail we were leaning against, so she was able to get in touch with her friend that lives in Plymouth. And then I went home.

Long day, but good. I wish I had gone to the horses one. I ended up going to Sally's teaching horror panel, which was also quite good--even though I'm not interested in teaching horror, they brought up a lot of issues that can apply to fantasy in general, too.

Which reminds me.  Sprig, will you give Brenna a login for bs.com?  She's offered to be our proofreader.  And let me tell ya, you and I REALLY could use one of those.

By the way, I've got another little con-report-thingy up on my blog.  Not as long as SE's, and not as detailed, but more EUOLish.

you can EUOL too, just goto option-->users-->add new user and set her up a password and username.  I can do it, but it might be easier for you to do it infrot of her so she can select her password and such.

Well, I wish I was there. It also makes me wish that BYU put together a better con..er.. symposium.

Stacer is my copy editor. Hopefully, I can blame her.

fully 2/3 of the report was written in the passenger seat of a '98 Ford Taurus after 10pm. I'm hoping that excuses me from the gross typos. Small keyboard do me in. Incidentally, without checking, I'm going to bet that most of the typos involve missing "I" and "K" keystrokes. Those two keys don't always work on this keyboard.

It wasn't untl  was about ready to submit it that I even realized it needed a better intro. So you got it. I hope that the "bosoms" sentence at the end doesn't bother anyone.

For those at the con actually checking the board, Mended Drum wireless connection beats the pants of the Starbucks. It's a little slow, but it at least stays connected.

OK, some of these Cosplayers just don't have passion for the craft. A Viking jsut passed me. He had a helmet with a nose guard and a fake beard. Also, under the helmet, Sunglasses.

I'm afraid that's something I didn't have time for today. I'll try to do a little copyediting tomorrow morning, but that all depends on what time I wake up.

Friday's report is written, and will appear on Monday. Saturday's on Tuesday, Sunday's on Wednesday, and Monday's on Thursday. Friday, I'm hoping EUOL has something. BTW, I saw Neo today. And some girl who may or may not have been in costume. I'm sot sure what purple and black striped tights under shorts count as.
